Friday Funny: Fantasy Football Bets

Friday, December 5, 2014

After years of watching The League, I definitely get the entertainment value of people winning and losing Fantasy Football leagues. I won once with a random selection of players I got because I auto drafted and victory wasn't as sweet because I did absolutely nothing to work for it. On The League when you lose, there is the dishonor of the Sacko Trophy and usually an embarrassing bet that has taken place, which the loser has to carry out until the next season.
In this case, the loser of this particular real-life league had to create a shot for shot remake of Sia's 'Chandelier' video and post it on Youtube. I must say though he really did an excellent job. Full costume, dance move memorization and the rest, this gentleman really committed.
 Bravo Sir, Bravo!

  1. I used to be a Fantasy Football junkie! It was creating "friendly fights" between my hubby and I, so I quit the league! lol

  5. I'd never seen the original video for that song--so weird! I can't imagine the time it took to recreate it, but you've got to commend the guy for doing it so well. Go big or go home, I guess!

  11. This is SO interesting - it is like a major under-world event! I didn't realize how big this industry is until I saw some Yahoo Fantasy Football billboards all over the BART stations here in San Francisco a couple of months ago - insane!

  14. Haha too funny. Maybe if I watch this show from time to time I can start liking football like some of my gfs. Other than tailgating I never cared to know much about the sport. Love your blog setup by the way!
