Bedtime is almost like a ritual to me. I have a very specific routine I go through to get myself all comfy, satisfied and ready for a good night's rest. Besides all the skincare and beauty pampering, there is also the pampering I like to do for my mind. Stress has been a huge factor in my life recently and I've relied heavily on my 'Off to Bed' routine to keep me happy and healthy. It may seem crazy, but a great pair of pj's gets me in the perfect mind set to get some rest. Lately, I have been completely obsessed with the matching sets from J.Crew. I think I own at least 5 matching sets, one for each night of my work week! I also really enjoy making a cup of tea as I settle in for the night and I have yet to find a more delicious tea than practically anything from David's Tea. My current favorite is Apple Custard, which is just as good as it sounds! As soon as my pj's are on and my tea is ready, I light a scented candle (I'm Bath & Body Works obsessed atm) and get ready to get cosy. For that, I definitely need my shearling slippers and my absolutely favorite blanket scarf from ASOS. I actually got the same one for my sister for Christmas this year! It's so cosy whether you're wearing around on your neck like a scarf or around your legs like a blanket. My absolute last essential is a good book. I really love reading historical fictions at the moment so I have been cosying up to Juliet Grey's Becoming Marie Antoinette. It's such a descriptive depiction and perfect nighttime reading. With my comfy pj's, tea, blanket, candle and great new book, I'm completely ready for a good night of rest and relaxation. It may seem like a lot, but I always find that I wake up a much happier camper.
